When a lot of people think about work, what comes to mind is waking up early and preparing for work. Next comes the boring period from 9-5 when we just can’t wait to get home and leave the rat race behind. Despite all this, we still go back to the work we said we dread.
Well, there happen to be a number of jobs that are quite interesting and fun. At the same time, you would be earning a hefty sum to keep you happy.
The first job that I would consider is that of a chocolate consultant. This job is what a lot of people would consider to be right out of a fairy-tale. Well, I am pleased to inform you that it is very real. The job description for this kind of work is for you taste chocolates, just like wine tasting. This job would be ideal for those of us that have cravings for chocolate. Even if pay is not given at the end of the month, this kind of work is one which a lot of people would delight in doing.
The second occupation on the list is quite similar to the above. However, it is one that involves something which could be considered more mature – beer. This job might not be for everyone since it requires that you don’t look drunk all the time. A lot of alcoholic companies are in need of people that would taste their beer before it goes public. If you feel you have what it takes, then go on ahead and have a good time.
Another interesting job is that of an Island caretaker. This job is one which doesn’t require much. It is however one that is very difficult to get. One lucky person to get this job was Ben Southal. This job paid about £73,400 and all it involved was Ben living on an Island in the Great Barrier Reef for six months. The daily routine for Ben involved things like swimming, exploring and generally enjoying himself while blogging and filming about all the fun he was having.
Another quite interesting job is that of professional sleepers. If you are the kind of person who is addicted to the snooze button on your alarm or you are always yawning and nodding off at work, this job might be the best fit for you. Professional sleepers typically work as participants in studies regarding sleeps and dreams. In 2009, at an art show conducted at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, some women were paid to sleep as part of a live art exhibition. Well, for those out there that do not like the art of sleeping, just remember to steer clear of this job.
Finally, you can also work as a bounty hunter. This is not from a movie about the Wild West. People engage in the work of bounty hunting today. People who do this capture those that have jumped their bail and help to bring them back to face justice. The pay for this profession ranges from 10% to 45% of the bail deposit. So, if you are someone that always likes to feel a rush of adrenaline, this job is perfect for you, though you should also consider the health implications.
