Description:
The Chinatown-International District Business Improvement Area (CIDBIA) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization funded by the business and property owners of the Chinatown-International District. Established in 1994, its mission is to improve the quality of life of the district to its businesses, residents, patrons, and visitors. Financed by a self-imposing tax on space by business and property owners, the CIDBIA supplements state and city programs geared toward neighborhood improvement. Specifically, the CIDBIA is charged to implement the following programs:

  • Maintenance, beautification, and enhancement of the public areas
  • Support and enhancement of the public safety
  • Promote and market business and tourism
  • Develop and assist parking for shoppers and visitors
  • Encourage and support all business development and economic vitalization efforts
