Description:
NAASCon is the first national Asian Pacific American (APA) student political organization. They have run several successful web-based issue campaigns that have mobilized thousands of students (i.e. Abercrombie & Fitch, Details Magazine "Gay or Asian," HR333). NAASCon held its first national conference at the University of Southern California in November 2004 bringing together over 300 Asian American student leaders from across the country. Their website (www.naascon.org) serves as community portal/forum and data clearinghouse of resources on issues critical to the APA community.
