Description:
Delta Phi Beta is the nation's first South Asian fraternity, established in 1992 at the University of California, Berkeley. Delta Phi Beta is a social co-ed Greek organization based on the pillars of philanthropy, cultural enhancement, academic excellence, and family. Currently, there is one chapter at the University of California, Los Angeles and colonies at the University of California, Davis and the University of Texas at Austin. The UCLA chapter of Delta Phi Beta hosts an annual banquet, known as Sahayak, to raise money for various South Asian related causes.
