Description:
The Purdue Filipino Association was founded to heighten cultural awareness and understanding of Filipino and Filipino American traditions and values and to promote fellowship in an academic environment. PFA primarily exists to enlighten and educate members about the Filipino and Filipino American culture by serving as a medium in which they are able to interact with each other through a cultural bond. Secondly, through an active presence on campus and in the community, PFA aspires to familiarize and educate others about the Philippine culture and about what it means to be a Filipino in America.
