Description:
The Chinese-American Museum of Chicago (CAMOC) is governed by the Board of Directors of the Chinatown Museum Foundation (CMF), a 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation located in Chicago, Illinois.

The mission of the CMF is to maintain a museum in Chicago for the purpose of promoting exhibitions, education, and research relating to Chinese-American culture and history in the midwestern United States. Information about all of these activities can be found on the CMF's very active website.

The museum building, formerly the Quong Yick Co., is located in Chicago's Chinatown, at 238 West 23rd Street (Chicago, IL 60616). Currently under renobation, it is scheduled to be opened to the public in the spring of 2005.
