Description:
The Asian Pacific American Women's Leadership Institute (APAWLI) is the only national, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and enriching leadership skills for Asian American and Pacific Island women leaders. Our mission is to address the challenges facing us and to nurture trusteeship within our communities by expanding leadership capacity, fostering awareness of Asian American and Pacific Island issues, creating a supportive network of Asian American and Pacific Island women, and strengthening community. The trustees and staff of the Asian Pacific American Women's Leadership Institute have worked to create a "place" where we can come to hear each other's voices, learn from one another, celebrate the many accomplishments of Asian and Pacific American women, nurture the spirit and deepened understanding of one-self.
