Tieng Magazine's mission is to voice the issues of those who are caught between two cultures. We are dedicated to creating an accessible journal of Vietnamese American life. Our philosophy is that while we appreciate the heritage of Vietnamese culture, we do not need to restrict ourselves to the definitions of the Vietnamese American role. To be Vietnamese American is to be unique - we strive to be a resource for all Vietnamese Americans.
