The Taiwanese American Foundation of San Diego (TAFSD) was founded in 1996 with the dedication and commitment of the Taiwanese American Community in San Diego.

The Taiwanese American Foundation of San Diego is to strengthen and enhance Taiwanese American individual and family life in San Diego by:

• Engaging in charitable, educational and community activities that promote Taiwanese American culture and tradition in a diverse society.
• Promoting the health and social well-being of members of the Taiwanese American community and enhancing their quality life.
• Providing assistance to immigrants and other newcomers to our community.
