WHO WE ARE
The Alliance is a coalition of over thirty arts, cultural, civil rights, educational, health, legal and social service organizations and individuals dedicated to advocating for the rights and empowerment of the Asian Pacific Islander American community in San Diego County through service, education, community develoopment and research.

WHAT WE DO
The Alliance facilitates communication among different organizations, often across ethnic lines, to share resources and for mutual collaboration and benefit. Through coordination and collaboration in addressing the needs of Asians and Pacific Islanders in San Diego County, the Alliance assists in building the organizational capacity fo its members and enhances their ability to provide services by providing resources in the following areas:

APIA VOTE

• Increase voter participation and civic engagement of APIA community
• Coordinate nonpartisan voter registration drives and get out the vote activities.
• Conduct community outreach and education in areas such as serving on City/County Boards and Commissions, and local Town Councils and Planning Groups.
• Provide youth with internships in political offices and community organizations
