Description:
Started by a father and daughter team three years ago, Katipunan-USA's main goal is to bring necessary change to the Philippines with its humanitarian projects. Our non-profit organization has sent books to Filipino elementary and high schools, raised money for a Filipino orphanage in Cabanatuan City, and brought a Filipina teacher to the US for free health care and lodging in its three year existence. Our projects have been written about in The Orange County Register, Los Angeles Times, Ang Periyodiko, The Asian Journal, and other newspapers and magazines.
