Description:
KCCD is a national nonprofit faith-based organizations with affiliates in multiple states. Our mission is to help build capacity of nonprofits and faith-based organizations to access funding and build effective programs through private and public partnerships. KCCD's programs include youth and young adult workforce program, financial literacy, homeownership, marriage and family strengthening, research institute, Americorps*Vista and national conferences and technical assistance. KCCD in 2005 received a historic $5 million Dept. of Labor grant to serve at-risk and and adjudicated Asian youth. KCCD provides subgrant opportunities to various Asian organizations. KCCD's partners include various Asian organizations, the 4000 KA churches, various governmental entities as HUD, DOL, HHS as well as corporations such as State Farm, Countrywide, CVS Pharmacy, Bank of Ameria, Wells Fargo, Freddie Mac and Foundations such as Fannie Mae, Ford Foundation, NEDLC, Annie E. Casey Foundation amongst others.
